About us

Audiovisual production, taught by people who build it

We created reportaza to give UK broadcast and live event teams a single, dependable place to learn how great production spaces are designed and run.

Our story

From the studio floor to the classroom

reportaza began as a set of internal training notes shared between engineers and operators on UK television productions. Colleagues asked for them, then their teams asked too, and the notes grew into a structured course.

Today the course covers broadcast studio design, camera control systems, professional lighting arrangements, sound engineering and the workflows that connect them, for television networks and live events of every size.

Our approach

What shapes every lesson

Three principles guide how we write, test and update the course.

Practical

Built from real productions

Every lesson starts with a situation from a working studio, gallery or event site, then shows how to solve it.

Precise

Clear technical standards

We explain signal paths, lighting data and audio levels in plain language without losing accuracy.

Useful

Templates you can reuse

Floor plans, lighting plots and runbooks are provided so your crew can apply the learning immediately.

Instructors

Meet the team behind the course

Working specialists who still spend their days in studios, galleries and on event sites.
